What's CBG
CBG, or cannabigerol, is the mother molecule of the cannabis plant. As the plant matures, CBGa (the acid form of CBG) converts to all the other cannabinoids, like CBDa and THCa. Retaining a high level of CBGa is not easy. But, with the right breeding and cultivation, it can be done. A 30mL bottle of our USDA Organic CBG tincture - CBG-1000 Whole Hemp Extract Liquid Drops contains 1000mg CBG with minor amounts of other cannabinoids and plenty of aromatic terpenes, but little or no THC (well below the 0.3% legal limit). The distinct lemon aroma from the frosty trichomes is nothing short of sensational.

Try making your own Organic CBG-1000 BALM
Here's how you do it:
Making your own USDA Organic Hemp balm is fun and easy, offering you the opportunity to create your own mix of essential oils that fit your specific needs. Please note you do not need to add essential oils. The natural fragrance and skin benefits of HARE HEMP CBG-1000 is perfect all by itself . The following recipe is a guide to getting you started.
UTENSILS NEEDED:
- 3.5 oz glass jar or tin
- Measuring glass (1 cup pyrex is good)
- Double boiler with water
- Measuring scoop (or gram scale)
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 oz (57g) carrier oil (organic coconut oil, organic jojoba oil or 1 oz (28g) of each)
- 1 oz (28g) Beeswax Organic Pastilles (easily found online)
- 12 drops essential oil (mixture of any combination or omit for a clean natural hempy balm
- HARE HEMP CBG-1000 Organic Whole Hemp Extract (peppermint or unflavored)
500mg CBG balm, - add 1/2 bottle (1/2 fl oz) HARE HEMP CBG-1000
250mg CBG balm, add 1/4 bottle (1/4 fl oz) HARE HEMP CBG-1000
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Add beeswax to measuring glass. Place in double boiler with water. Warm beeswax to 140F
- Once beeswax has melted, slowly add carrier oil(s), stirring to re-melt beeswax as it will harden slightly
- Turn off heat and add essential oil(s) and CBG-1000, stirring constantly until beeswax has re-melted.
- Immediately pour into jar or tin and let cool.
Here are a few pointers to keep in mind when modifying the recipe:
- Coconut or jojoba oil are great carrier oils. Coconut oil is semi-liquid at room temperature whereas jojoba oil is liquid. Beeswax offers firmness to the balm. So, if you use only coconut oil, the balm will be slightly more firm than if you use a combination of coconut and jojoba oil or just jojoba oil. If you replace some of the carrier oil with a bit more beeswax it will make it more firm. When replacing carrier oils with beeswax, replace only 1-4 grams until you find the perfect firmness you are looking for.
- The type of essential oil or the amount can be decreased. More than 12 drops of essential oil may be too harsh on the skin. Please keep in mind, some essential oils should be used in limited amounts and some may irritate the skin. If you add them, please be sure to research their properties and recommended amounts.
